Acoustic Consultants Limited is an established independent practice specialising in Noise Control and Acoustics. Operating throughout the UK since 1987, we provide cost effective independent acoustic solutions and practical advice based on over 30 years of experience and 1000’s of successfully completed projects.

As noise and acoustic consultants our areas of expertise include advice on all types of buildings as well as outdoor activities. This includes educational projects, auditoria (from 300, to 3000 seaters), commercial projects, airport buildings (Heathrow Terminal 4 Infill and Bristol Airport), community buildings,  residential, studios and cinemas.

The practice is  ANC accredited for Building Regulation Approved Document Part “E” in relation to testing  for pre completion testing . This includes BREEAM and Ecohomes.

 

It  provides design advice for internal noise control in residential.

Testing is required unless one follows the Robust Detail procedures for sound insulation. For residential building types we ascertain the PPG24  (TAN11) NEC situation and provide fabric noise control advice. This relates to PPG24 “Planning and Noise”.
